As a distributor, is Connect available to me?
No, Connect is a web base tool available for supplier members. Connect gives the suppliers access to distributor credit reports and helps them make key business decisions such as extending terms and qualifying business.
How do I find the credit of my end-user client or the supplier I am considering?
ASI has partnered with Experian to make available Exprerian Smart Business reports at a 15% discount. Please log on to http://www.asicentral.com/experian where you can request a credit report on either your supplier or end-user customer.
Can I get a copy of my credit report?
Log on to http://oam.asicentral.com/. This information is available to the primary contact only. To obtain the login information, please contact the Member Support department at 800-546-1350 Option 1 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.
How often does the report change?
This depends on how often a supplier reports on your paying habits. Suppliers who subscribe to the Connect program are required to report on your pay habits once in January and once in July. Supplier members have the option of reporting on a monthly basis.
How can I find out which supplier(s) have reported on my business?
When you request your Credit report, you will also receive an excel list of the suppliers who reported on your business.
How do I dispute a transaction?
If you are having a financial dispute with asupplier, we recommend logging on to www.asicentral.com/distributorcredit and click on Dispute Transaction Form. Complete and submit the form to the supplier as well as ASI. Should the supplier report the disputed transaction to Connect prior to the resolution, we will mark the transaction as being disputed. Note that in order for the transaction to be removed from your credit report, ASI must have communication from the supplier.
Once a dispute is resolved, what is the next step?
ASI requests that both parties involved contact us once the dispute has been resolved.
My Credit Score is considered "High Risk". How can I improve my score?
ASI recommends contacting all ASI Supplier members that you've done business with over the last 12 months and ask them to rate your pay habits. You can find the form on www.asicentral.com/distributorcredit. Once there, click on the Building Credit Form link. Submit the form to those ASI listed suppliers.
Can I add contacts at my company who are able to request a credit report?
The Primary contact can add a contact through the Online Account Manager.
