Virtual Samples in ESP Web - Classic

To create a virtual sample in ESP Web, click on the design tool from the List, Grid, or Image views. In the Detail view, you can click on the Create Virtual Sample button. The Virtual Sample window will open.

Note: If your virtual sample window does not resemble the one pictured above, you may be working in the Designer version.


Create a Virtual Sample with a Logo Image

You can upload an image from your computer to use for virtual samples.

Acceptable images must be in a .png, .tif, .jpg, or .eps format and less than 2MB in size.

Upload a New Logo

If there is a background color on the logo image you want to upload, check the Remove background color box before uploading.

Click on the Upload a new Logo button. The File Upload dialog box appears. Navigate to your logo, select it, and then click Open.
Note: The file upload window and process look differently on a Mac.

The uploaded logo will appear on the product.

I already uploaded the logo, do I have upload it again?

No, previously uploaded logos will be stored in the Media Manager. To access these logos, click on the My Logos button.

Hover on the image you would like to use, then hover on Options, and lastly, click on Select File.

If the logo you would like to use is not in this section, use the Upload Media button to browse your computer and upload a new logo.

After you have added the logo to the item, you can configure it.

Change the Logo Color

If you would like to change the color of the logo, check the Change Logo Color box and then select the color you would like to use.
Note: You are able to enter a hex code in the box at the top of the color selection options.

Make the Logo Larger or Smaller

To increase or decrease the size of the logo on item, use the slider. Drag it towards the "+" sign to make it larger or towards the "-" sign to make it smaller.
Note: The image appears in the suggested imprint area. You may lose parts of the image if you move it outside the virtual boundary. The button with the dot will re-center your logo within the virtual boundaries.

Move the Logo on the Product

To change the location of the logo on the item, use the four directional arrows below the image.

Show a Different Imprint Method

To change the logo to reflect a different imprint method, use the Select Imprint Method dropdown to choose from the available options provided by the supplier.

Click on Save when you are finished.

Create a Logo with Text

If you don't have a logo or image, you can use the text field to add a company name or other identifier. The system allows you to select a font type, size, style and color. Click Apply to add the text, and it will appear on the product.

Click on Save when you are finished.

Create a Blank Product Image

To create a blank product image, just click on the "Create Blank Image" button. This will remove any logo or text that was already applied to the product by the supplier.

Click on Save when you are finished.

Can I have a logo display on all images?

Yes, you can upload a logo to display on all virtual sample enabled products. To create virtual samples for all images, click on the avatar and select Preferences.

In Preferences window, go to the Virtual Samples tab.

Click the radio button for "Virtual Sample ready image with Logo from my Library", then click the "Upload a Logo" link. It is important to check the "Remove background color" checkbox first before uploading.

The File Upload dialog box appears. Navigate to your logo, select it, and then click Open.
Note: The file upload window and process look differently on a Mac.

The logo appears in the Preference window. You can use the "Select Another" link to use a different logo from your Media Library.

If you do not have a logo, you can select to use text and type your text in the available text box.

Click on Save to apply these changes. You will then see a green bar confirming that your changes have been saved successfully. Close the window.

Now, the applied changes appear on virtual sample-enabled products, on the product detail page.
